EXPERIENCE ANOTHER CULTURE IN YOUR OWN HOME!
This year, PAA has a student with us from a school in Osaka, Japan. Her name is Miho. She lives with the Allen Family.
Her Japanese school is bringing 45 students to visit Portland next March and they will be staying at PSU in the dorms. The students want to see Miho's school and we have invited them to visit PAA on Friday, March 12, 2010. We would also like to show them what American home life is really like.
Would you be willing to take two students home with you on Friday and let them stay the weekend with you? Students would not expect to be entertained. They would just like to participate in whatever it is you do on a weekend – church, hiking, shopping, playing games; whatever it is your family does on Saturday evening. They will be picked up at PAA Sunday morning by their teachers and chaperones.
The dates are March 12 (Friday) through March 14, 2010 (Sunday morning). They also plan to come back on the second weekend of July (before campmeeting).
