I’m in volleyball, basketball and softball and I love it. I’ve made friendships with people that I wouldn't have really know well without sports. I’ve bonded with the other girls on my teams. And learning how to work together is a great skill to have in life.
~ Sarah Halversen
Volleyball has taught me responsibility and to contribute my best to a team of people working towards one goal. I’ve learned it’s not about winning, but making it an experience that improves us as a team.

PAA has helped me improve on the fundamentals of basketball. I have thrived under my coach’s leadership.

Every day as I interact with students—in the classroom, at a musical performance, on the ball field, in a worship service—I am reminded that what we are doing right now will have an important impact not only on our lives, but also on the lives of everyone with whom we interact in the future and throughout eternity.
We believe healthy bodies are a means to healthy minds and healthy spirits. That’s why Portland Adventist Academy encourages students to be active in sports and extracurricular programs.
We offer something for everyone and at every level.
