For over 30 years, Mr. Kooy has been making his mark on the hearts of students and colleagues at Portland Adventist Academy.
Hundreds of students over three decades have experienced his instruction in Publications, Digital Media, Photography, Graphic Design, Painting, Pottery, and even 3D Design and Printing.
Mr. Kooy’s students have always been encouraged to explore the creative process. He has helped students discover a sense of wonder, appreciation, curiosity, and imagination about the world surrounding them as well as a sincere appreciation and respect for their Divine Creator.
Mr. Kooy’s care for his students and reflection of our Creator has made a deep impact for the Kingdom.
