Mechelle Peinado Appointed Interim Principal

Last night, the Portland Adventist Academy board voted unanimously to name Mechelle Peinado as interim principal for the 2018-19 school year.

During a staff meeting this afternoon, PAA teachers and staff met with Gale Crosby from the Oregon Conference Office of Education to affirm and commend Mechelle in her leadership.

Teachers shared words that reflected Mechelle’s character: hard-working, joyful, faithful, peaceful, trusting, friend, and many more.

Mrs. Peinado has been an administrator and teacher at PAA for more than four years. She has remained a steadfast source of confidence and optimism for PAA teachers and staff and a shining light to her students.
