PAA Board Unanimously Votes Mr. Bibb as Principal

Jason Bibb accepted the offer to officially lead Portland Adventist Academy as principal.

Following a series of very positive interviews with the PAA staff, students, and local church pastors, the PAA board met on December 18 and voted unanimously in support of Bibb.

Bibb has been serving as interim principal since August and has filled the role of Vice Principal of Finance for more than four years.

In a written announcement from Dan Nicola, Associate Superintendent of Education at the Oregon Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, Nicola stated that after Bibb’s excellent leadership thus far, the board is confident in his ability to guide PAA into the future and bring the school closer to the ideal that God has to minister to Portland youth.

“Mr. Bibb shared with the board that his greatest desire for PAA is that it be a place where students meet Jesus in every aspect of school life,” said Nicola. “He

[also] cast a vision for academic excellence, authentic relationships, and a strong sense of ‘family’ among staff and students in the months and years to come.”

Bibb leads by example with the same Christ-centered and character-driven values PAA strives to teach its students. As the school enters a new season, the PAA family thanks God for His divine guidance as it is clear ‘He makes all things beautiful in its time.’
