When “Stay Home” orders were mandated, Portland Adventist Academy students and teachers moved to distance learning the very next school day.
Beyond exceptional attention to academic progress, students experienced support with emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness.
Thanks to PAA’s new virtual Chaplain’s office, students maintained connection through spiritual reflection and expression in student led chapels, Community vespers, podcasts, blogs, and more.
Together, students and teachers fused new was to connect and collaborate in learning. Focused time at home revealed personal and unique learning styles and abilities.
